Stumbled upon Schuck Taylor's in Victoria and wow! Seriously amazing oysters - so fresh and high quality. The service was also top-notch. Definitely a lucky find and a place I'd highly recommend if you love oysters.

Such a wonderful little gem. The food is fantastic and very fresh. The staff are infectiously friendly. Service is quick and the atmosphere is just right. We've done the seafood buckets (great for groups). Can even get your buckets to go and cook at home. The oysters and clams are great! We visited three times while in town to see family. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Shuck Taylor truly delivers an unforgettable seafood experience. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and every bite of meat is plump and satisfying. Their seafood boil instantly transported me back to my time in Thailand — the rich, authentic flavors put me in full vacation mode right there in the restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It’s clear they care about both quality and customer experience. If the salad could be a bit more to comfortably feed two people it would be wonderful. But overall, this place is a gem — absolutely deserving of five stars. We’ll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.

Five Stars All the Way! We had the best experience thanks to the amazing service from Paige, Raj, and Wylie—they made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in! Their warmth and energy truly elevated our visit and made it something special. And the food? Just wow. My daughter had the lobster mac and cheese and couldn't stop raving about it—it was creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. My sister and I went with the Nova Scotia lobster roll served with that dreamy Connecticut-style drawn butter, and let me tell you—it was incredibly tender, buttery, and absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere was spot on—cozy, lively, and full of good vibes. Everything from the service to the flavors to the environment was just perfect. Highly, highly recommend—we’re already planning our next visit!

Shuck Taylor’s provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, excellent and attentive service, and fresh and mouth watering food. I came with a big group and all the orders were serviced well despite the large volume of things we ordered. I ordered the Pacific and Atlantic oysters and both were great. I also got the prawns and they were phenomenal - big and filling. The pacific oysters were especially fantastic. Fresh, plump, big, and cold. The sauce provided was also great bonus. And having come during happy hour, the pacific oysters were 2 per oyster! If for nothing else I would go back here for the oysters. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood, especially oysters and prawns! Thank you for the wonderful seafood experience, I will be coming back again next time I visit Victoria!

Best meal we had in Victoria!! Food tastes fresh, homemade and crafted with care! We got the fried oysters, lobster roll and whole dungy crab. Fine attention to detail and delicious homemade sauces! Owner and staff very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

We had raw Deman island, & Gabriela island oysters. They were So sweet! Warmed Dungess crab dip, oyster poboy, crab rolls, & the clam chowder. Very fresh, well seasoned. John & Ceity were the best. Thoroughly enjoyed everything

We went for happy hour. We had the pacific and atlantic oysters. I cant remember the name of one of them but one of them was the sunseeker. They oysters were so so so good! Especially, the Atlantic oysters. We had lobster roll which is on the pricey end but after the first bite I see why!! Never had anything like that. Clam chowder was good, the fries were amazing! The tequila oyster shot was surprisingly good and paired with well together! We had 36 oysters between two of us! I highly recommend coming here if you want good oysters!
